Jasprit Bumrah continued his ascent in Test cricket as the fast bowler took his career’s 9th five-wicket haul in his 32nd Test match, which helped India win the Cape Town Test and level the series 1-1.
This is Bumrah’s third five-wicket haul in South Africa, which is the joint-most with Javagal Srinath for an Indian bowler in South Africa. Bumrah now has six Test 5-wicket hauls in SENA countries, only one behind Kapil Dev.
