Sara Tendulkar Shared A Special Post For Arjun Tendulkar After His Debut Hundred

Arjun Tendulkar, son of legendary Indian batter Sachin Tendulkar, finally made his Ranji Trophy debut for Goa on Tuesday (December 13) in a match against Rajasthan at the Goa Cricket Association Academy Ground in Porvorim. And just like his father, Arjun Tendulkar hogged all the limelight on his debut day as he smashed a sublime century on his first-class debut. The Mumbai-based player, who is currently playing for Goa, emulated his legendary father Sachin Tendulkar by registering a stunning ton making his first-class debut on Day 2 of the Group C Ranji Trophy encounter on Wednesday.

Interestingly, Sachin Tendulkar, who is hailed as one of the greatest batters in the history of this game, made his Ranji Trophy debut as a 15-year-old and also slammed his maiden ton against Gujarat at the Wankhede Stadium. 34-years after Tendulkar slammed an unbeaten ton, his son Arjun also repeated the same heroics by notching up a century in Goa. Arjun Tendulkar, who is a bowling all-rounder, had shifted to Goa after not getting enough chances to play for Mumbai, earlier this year. He has only played seven List A matches and nine T20s for Mumbai and Goa.

Arjun Tendulkar walked out to bat at number 7 and played a blockbuster knock of 120 runs from 207 balls in his maiden innings in the Ranji Trophy, with the help of 16 fours and 2 sixes.

Meanwhile, Arjun has been receiving praise from all corners for his terrific knock. From cricketers to experts and fans, everyone is hailing him for his debut century. However, one of the most special posts came from his sister Sara Tendulkar.
