Scott Styris Trolled England Cricket Team On Twitter: Italy was crowned as the European Champions after they defeated England in a penalty shootout in the high-voltage Euro 2020 final at the Wembley Stadium in London. The hopes of the England team were crushed into pieces after Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho and Bukayo Saka failed to beat Gianluigi Donnarumma in the shootout, and eventually, they couldn’t get their hands on the trophy.

Following their defeat New Zealand cricketers Scott Styris and James Neesham took to their social media and trolled the England cricket team. After England’s defeat, Neesham came up with a hilarious tweet and asked if the Euro 202 final could be decided by counting the passes made by each team. He wrote:

“Why is it a penalty shootout and not just whoever made the most passes wins? #joking,”

Just like Jimmy Neesham, Scott Styris also took to his Twitter and posted a similar tweet. In his tweet, Scott Styris took a hilarious dig at the England cricket team by pointing out that they deserved to win the Euro as they had more corners in the game. He wrote:

“I don’t understand…. England had more corners …. they are the champions! #Stillsalty”

For the unversed, the England cricket team defeated New Zealand in a thrilling final on boundary count to clinch their first-ever 50-over World Cup trophy. Jimmy Neesham was also part of the New Zealand cricket team that missed their chance of lifting the prestigious World Cup trophy at the Lord’s balcony because of their inferior boundary count after the Super Overs ended in ties.

Well, Styris’ suggestion might have helped England’s team though as they had five corners in the game, two more than what Italy earned in the game.
