Shoaib Akhtar Wrote The Most Beautiful Message For MS Dhoni On Twitter

MS Dhoni, the one who contributed a lot to the Indian cricket team, made everyone fall in love with cricket with his amazing performances – be it his helicopter shots or his lightning-fast stumpings or the ‘Dhoni Review System’. The legendary cricketer left everyone stunned after he decided to bring the curtain down from his glorious career.

After having retired from Tests on December 30, 2014, in Australia, MS Dhoni stepped down from ODI captaincy in January 2017. During his glorious career of 16 years, MS Dhoni-led India in 199 ODIs and 72 T20Is. The fans were waiting excitedly for MS Dhoni’s comeback on-field as he is all set to lead his team Chennai Super Kings in the upcoming edition of the Indian Premier League, which will kickstart from September 19 in UAE.
However, ahead of the league, the whole country was celebrating the independence day, MS Dhoni at exactly 17:29 took to his social media and announced his retirement. He shared a video of himself, featuring his glorious career as an Indian cricketer, with ‘main pal do pal ka shayar hon’ a classic Hindi song played in the background.
Sharing the heart-touching video, Dhoni wrote:
“Thanks a lot for ur love and support throughout.from 1929 hrs consider me as Retired (sic)”,

Soon after MS Dhoni announced his retirement on Instagram, the former Pakistani bowler Shoaib Akhtar took to his twitter and wrote a beautiful tweet for MS Dhoni. In his tweet, Shoaib Akhtar wrote how the story of cricket will never be complete without MS Dhoni. He wrote:
“Mahendra Singh Dhoni retires from international cricket. The story of cricket will never be complete without him. Video tribute coming up shortly. What a legend! #DhoniRetires #mahendrasinghdhoni,”

Shoaib Akhtar, with just under 2.2 million subscribers on his YouTube channel, is known for speaking his heart out about everything. Further, in his tweet, Shoaib mentioned that he would post a video tribute for MS Dhoni soon and fans seem to be quite excited about his video.
