Kane Williamson-led New Zealand cricket team registered their maiden win of the ongoing T20 World Cup as they almost knocked the Virat Kohli led side out of the semi-final race. The Indian cricket team never turned up as they failed to find the momentum throughout the match.

Before both the teams took against each other on Sunday, they were on equal levels, having lost their respective maiden games of T20 World Cup 2021 to Pakistan. However, the Kiwis showed signs of confidence during the Pakistan game and they bounced back in the game against India, on the other hand, the words fall short to describe the performance of the Indian side, it was that bad.

Meanwhile, the Indian side has been receiving criticism and trolling from every corner as the fans around the world expected better from them. Several former cricketers, experts, and fans have been expressing their feelings about the humiliating defeat.

Amidst all the criticism, New Zealand’s commentator and presenter, Simon Doull came up with a hilarious tweet on Kane Williamson and Virat Kohli’s hug.

Well, before locking their horns with each other on-field, Virat Kohli and Kane Williamson shared a light moment as they were seen hugging each other during the toss time. For the unversed, both the skippers share a great camaraderie with each other. Time and again, both the cricketers have expressed that the relationship they share goes well beyond the boundaries of a cricket field.

Talking about the Tweet, in his Tweet, Simon Doull shared a picture of both the cricketers hugging each other. The picture also features him, who can be seen looking at both of them with awe. Sharing the picture, Simon wrote:

“And a grown man waits for his hug..? @imVkohli Kane.?‍♂ where’s mine.? #manlove #respect #ICCT20WorldCup”
