After missing the T20 World Cup 2022 in Australia due to a leg injury, Ravindra Jadeja made a sensational return to international cricket in 2023, bossing all three formats, including the IPL, across conditions.

Ravindra Jadeja ended the year 2023 with 66 wickets and scoring 613 runs. He is the only international cricketer to score over 500 runs and pick over 50 wickets in 2023. No other all-rounder in the world achieved this record in 2023.

Among players who took at least 50 wickets this year, after Jadeja’s 613 runs, the next best is Tim Southee with 266 runs. This further highlights how important Jadeja has become as a proper all-rounder.

In 35 internationals this year, Jadeja snapped up 66 wickets at an average of only 23. This included a five-wicket haul against South Africa in the World Cup game in Kolkata. He starred with the ball during the home BGT.

Meanwhile, he missed the first Test against South Africa in Centurion, which India lost. He is set to return for the second Test in Cape Town.
