Sreesanth Posted A Heart Touching Tweet In Support Of Sachin Tendulkar: Indian batting legend Sachin Tendulkar has been receiving criticism ever since he shared his views on the ongoing farmers’ protest across the country. Sachin along with several cricketers and Bollywood celebrities had voiced their opinion on the ongoing farmers’ protest after some international celebrities including pop sensation Rihanna and teen-climate activist Greta Thunberg extended their support to the farmers.

In his tweet, Sachin Tendulkar urged the citizens to shift their focus on the efforts being made by the government of India and opined that external forces can be spectators but not participants. He wrote:

“India’s sovereignty cannot be compromised. External forces can be spectators but not participants. Indians know India and should decide for India. Let’s remain united as a nation. #IndiaTogether #IndiaAgainstPropaganda”

Soon after Tendulkar shared the tweet, social media went berserk and was divided into two parts. While there were many who praised the legendary batsman, on the other hand, there were many who started criticizing the cricketer for not speaking in favor of the farmers.

However, the controversy took an ugly turn after several Indian Youth Congress workers poured black oil and ink over the cutout of batting legend in Kerala’s Kochi. Infact, as per the reports, the Indian Youth Congress workers also took out a rally against Tendulkar.

Soon Tendulkar’s worshippers came out in support of him and flooded social media with their amazing posts for the legend. ‘#IstandwithSachin’ hashtag started to trend on Twitter as fans and followers extended their support for the Master Blaster.

Among many, India cricketer S Sreesanth also came out in support of the iconic cricketer and expressed his love and admiration for him. He wrote:

“Sachin Paaji is an emotion. He’s the reason many boys like me aspired to play for our country. No words can express my love nd gratitude for @sachin_rt paaji. Thank u for being born in India. U have and u will always be the pride of India. #IStandWithSachin #NationWithSachin,”
