Australia’s star opener David Warner is one of the greatest players to have played for Sunrisers Hyderabad, however, the cricketer didn’t receive the treatment and the respect that he deserved in the 14th edition of the Indian Premier League. Not just he was removed from the position of captaincy but also he was dropped from the playing XI as well.
Adding more to the fans’ dismay, the franchise chose not to retain him ahead of the upcoming IPL 2021 mega auction. The speculations regarding the rift between the franchise and the player further strengthened after the star opener went on to take a sly dig at his former franchise on Twitter.
On Tuesday, David Warner was at it again as he responded to a fan’s query about SRH. Well, what happened was a fan had wondered whether the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) side will have a ‘good’ auction ahead of IPL 2021. While replying under Tom Moody’s Tweet, the fan had asked:

The fan’s reply soon caught the attention of David Warner, who came up with a witty reply. The former SRH skipper ridiculed the idea of the team doing well in the upcoming auction. Replying to the fan’s tweet asking Tom Moody to have a good auction for Sunrisers Hyderabad, David Warner wrote: “Baha doubt it”

Warner’s Tweet instantly went viral and became a topic of discussion on social media. While several fans came up with hilarious replies taking the Tweet in a light manner, on the other hand, there were many who were shocked by the bluntness of the SRH legend.

However, the best reaction came from the franchise itself. Sunrisers Hyderabad was quick to notice the tweet of David Warner and they came up with a brilliant reply to the Tweet. In their Tweet, SRH hoped that Warner has a good auction when he goes under the hammer. SRH wrote:
