Former Indian captain and batting legend MS Dhoni might not be an active international cricketer anymore, but he is still one of the biggest IPL stars and Chennai Super Kings‘ most important player. MS Dhoni has played a number of crucial outings for the Chennai-based franchise in the previous seasons of the league and has led his side to four IPL title wins. In the previous season, Dhoni left his captaincy role for Ravindra Jadeja however, he took over the reins again mid-way through the season.
While the rivalry between Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians is known to all, but there used to be a time when Kolkata Knight Riders and Chennai Super Kings used to be fierce rivals on the field. Under the captaincy of Gautam Gambhir, KKR challenged Dhoni-led CSK’s supremacy. While Gambhir’s smart tactics to put pressure on Dhoni’s team are still quite famous, on the other hand, Dhoni’s heroics against KKR is still etched in everyone’s memories.
And it seems the fear of Dhoni isn’t limited to those on the field. Indian superstar Shah Rukh Khan also admitted that he gets “nervous” when Dhoni comes to bat against the Kolkata Knight Riders.
SRK’s Reply Wins The Internet
Shah Rukh Khan, who is the co-owner of Kolkata Knight Riders, was asked about how he feels when Dhoni bats against the two-time IPL Champions, during a Q&A session on Twitter. The fan asked: “How do you feel when MS Dhoni comes to bat against KKR #AskSRK”
SRK was quick to notice the tweet of the fan and come up with a brilliant reply to it. In his reply, SRK came up with a 3-word response, that won the internet. SRK replied: “Ha ha nervous”.

Meanwhile, CSK and KKR will renew their rivalry in IPL 2023. The upcoming edition of the IPL could be Dhoni’s last IPL season and a chapter in the KKR-CSK rivalry will come to an end if the legendary captain retires.
