MS Dhoni attended Rishabh Pant’s sister Sakshi’s engagement party earlier this month, where the junior wicketkeeper got the senior pro to shake his leg. Sakshi, Pant’s elder sister, got engaged to Ankit Chaudhary a couple of weeks ago.

Among cricketers, MS Dhoni and Nitish Rana attended the event. Known for keeping his emotions to himself more often, MS Dhoni enjoyed his time at Pant’s sister’s engagement and even danced to the tunes as the Delhi Capitals skipper led the fun.

Bollywood actor Sunny Singh shared a couple of pictures from the party. In the first picture, Sunny is seated alongside Dhoni, Pant, and Rana.

The second picture is the one that has gone viral because, in it, Pant and others can be seen cajoling MS Dhoni to dance with them as they all stand in a huddle.

“Creating bonds and unforgettable stories with these incredible souls,” Sunny Singh captioned his Instagram post.

MS Dhoni begins his net session; Rishabh Pant set to make comeback in IPL 2024

Both wicketkeeper-batters are looking forward to the IPL 2024 for different reasons. MS Dhoni led CSK to a 5th IPL title last year, and after that, he hinted that the IPL 2024 is all but certain to be his last IPL season; Dhoni will be 43 by July.

For Rishabh Pant, the IPL 2024 will mark his comeback to professional cricket following his car accident in December 2022. Pant had to undergo multiple surgeries on his legs but has made an astonishing recovery in a quick time. Delhi was led by David Warner last season, and the franchise finished in the second-last position. It has been learned that Pant will play a full part in the matches this season but might not keep wicket.

He said last month, “I think [I’m] much better [compared to] what I was doing a few months ago. Still on recovery to 100%, but hopefully in a few months’ time I’ll be able to do that.”
