Suresh Raina Gave The Biggest Compliment To ‘Sir’ Ravindra Jadeja: India and Chennai Super Kings‘ star all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja has been winning the hearts of one and all with his sensational performances in the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League. He has been a match-winner for CSK in the IPL. So far in the ongoing league, he has scored 102 runs, scalped 5 wickets, and taken seven catches in 5 outings this season.
Chennai Super Kings’ Chinna Thala Suresh Raina showered praises on his teammate Ravindra Jadeja and hailed him as a complete player who should be playing in all three formats of the game.
Recently, speaking on CSK TV, Suresh Raina was all praises for Ravindra Jadeja. He said:
“He’s been batting really well, he’s been bowling really well, and he has taken 7 or 8 catches till now. Someone like Jadeja has to be in all three formats.”
Having played with and even captained Jadeja in the IPL, Suresh Raina has closely seen the journey of the star all-rounder. Both the cricketers have been teammates in CSK for a decade now. While Suresh Raina has been associated with the team since its inception, on the other hand, Jadeja joined the yellow army in the year 2011.
When CSK was banned for 2 years, both the cricketers played together for the Gujarat Lions. He further described how every team’s skipper would want a player like Jadeja in the team. He said:
“He works really hard. I would say he is one of the number one in the world. He has been amazing. I love his attitude, how he throws his body at the ball and he enjoys fielding. I think he is one person who can really change the momentum. Whoever (is) the captain in the side really wants him in the team. When things are not in your favor, one catch or one run out can change the momentum. That’s what he has been doing.”
