The Indian side made a huge stride towards sealing their semi-final spot in the ongoing ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022 by defeating Bangladesh in a thrilling clash to register their third victory of the tournament. Riding on the stellar half-centuries of Virat Kohli and KL Rahul, alongwith a stunning cameo of the new ranked no.1 T20I batter Suryakumar Yadav, the Indian side was able to pull off this amazing win. 

Virat and SKY have been winning hearts with their camaraderie on-field and off-field. After this sensational win, Kohli and Suryakumar indulged in a heartwarming moment on Instagram, that has left everyone in awe of their lovely bond of friendship.

Well, what happened was, Virat Kohli on Wednesday shared some pictures from the game and what followed was a heart-warming conversation between the two batting superstars. Sharing some glimpses from the game, Virat wrote:

The post was flooded with comments from the fans, who congratulated him for another stellar knock. Among many, India’s middle-order batter Suryakumar Yadav also joined the bandwagon and came up with an interesting comment. He wrote: “Fire hai”

Virat Kohli was quick to notice the comment and come up with a heartfelt reply to SKY’s comment. Hailing him for his new achievement, Virat wrote: “@surya_14kumar bhau sabse upar #1”

Meanwhile, after the game on Wednesday, Virat hailed Suryakumar Yadav as a “phenomenal talent” and claimed that players with his potential do not enter the system on a regular basis. He said: “Sky (Suryakumar’s nickname) is a phenomenal talent. That caliber of talent does not enter the system on a regular basis. He does not throw out random cricket shots. His execution rate is absurd.”

“He understands his game inside and out. He understands exactly what he needs to do. He is currently in his prime. The next 4-5 years might be a tremendous run for him,” Virat remarked in an ICC video.
