fans are riding high on the emotions as Virat Kohli-led team India is locking its horns with the New Zealand cricket team in the ongoing World Test Championship Final at the Ageas Bowl, Southampton.

As the match is going on in full swing, a video from the reserve day has gone crazily viral on social media where a cricket fan’s expression has stolen all the limelight. The clip is from the 50th over of India’s second batting innings, where this fan was involved in a hilarious yet sad instance.

Before the lunch on the reserve day, team India was going strong with the talented Rishabh Pant and vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane on the crease, forming a crucial partnership. Rahane showed some signs of brilliance during the start of his innings and the fans present at the Ageas Bowl were hoping for a big inning from the vice-captain.

However, just when things looked in control, Rahane was dismissed by Trent Boult on the last ball of the 50th over.

Meanwhile, a video of Rahane’s dismissal has stolen all the attention of the cricket enthusiasts. The clip features a bunch of Indian fans showing their excitement while cheering for Ajinkya Rahane, however, the expressions change in no time when they realize that the vice-captain has been dismissed. The sudden transition of the cricket fan from being happy to sad has left the fans on social media in splits.

The video of the incident was shared by popular cricket journalist Dennis Freedman. Sharing the video he wrote:
