In IPL 2016, The Gujarat Lions Shivil Kaushik has a bowling action that looks very similar to Paul Adams’. Shivil Kaushik became an instant hit on the social media and there were immediate comparisons with Paul Adams.
Paul Adams, during his playing was days was ‘Gogga’ by his teammates. Gogga is an Afrikaans word for a gnat-like insect. His peculiar bowling style prompted his teammates to call him ‘gogga’. Adams’s bowling action was highly unorthodox and Mike Gatting likened it to a “frog in a blender”.
