This Is Why Krunal Pandya Signalled ‘Four’ To AB de Villiers After Taking Wicket

IPL 2017: AB de Villiers is regarded as one of the best batsmen in world cricket across all three formats of the game. But, when it comes to T20 cricket, very few batsmen in the world can match De Villiers’ destructive style. He has a very wide range of strokes and on his day, he can make any bowler in this world look very ordinary.

However, AB de Villiers’ team Royal Challengers Bangalore ha struggled in the ongoing test edition of Indian Premier League. On Monday, in the match against Royal Challengers Bangalore, Mumbai Indians all rounder Krunal Pandya picked AB de Villiers for the fourth time in the tournament.

In IPL, Krunal Pandya has bowled 32 deliveries to AB de Villiers and conceded just 4 runs. Also, he has picked RCB’s destructive batsman 4 times in the tournament. AB de Villiers averages just 8.25 against Krunal while his strike rate is a meagre 103.13. These numbers are very ordinary for a batsman of his stature.

After taking AB’s wicket, Krunal celebrated by showing 4 (boundary) to the dressing room.  Pandya was trying to state the fact that this was the fourth time in IPL that he got better of AB de Villiers.
