This Tweet Tells Why Rohit Sharma Is India’s Main Man For The WTC Final: The Indian cricket team is all set to lock horns with the New Zealand cricket team in the much-awaited final of the inaugural edition of the World Test Championship, which will begin from tomorrow onwards at the Ross Bowl, Southampton.

While the tournament will kickstart from tomorrow, there has been a lot of discussion going over India’s opening combination for the summit clash against New Zealand.

Rohit Sharma has secured his place at the top, riding on his incredible performances. However, there was a debate going on over India’s opening combination. Several cricketers and experts came up with their opinions on this matter. While several cricketers have backed Rohit Sharma for the opening position, on the other hand, there were many who have backed technically sound Mayank Agarwal to open up with young Shubman Gill.

Meanwhile, ahead of the tournament, a fan penned down an amazing tweet explaining why Rohit Sharma is the main man for team India in the much-awaited WTC Final.

In his tweet, the fan explained how team India has never lost a Test match whenever Rohit scored a century, remained not-out, involved in century partnership, or smashed two sixes. The fan wrote:

“India Never Lost a Test match

Whenever
– Rohit Scored Century (7 times)
– Rohit Remained Notout (8 times)
– Rohit Involved In Century Partnership (10 times)
– Rohit Smashed atleast 2 6s (13 times)
