Sri Lanka’s Muttiah Muralitharan is arguably the best spinner in this history of cricket. Muralitharan (800 wickets) is the leading wicket taker in history of Test cricket and during his playing days, he made life difficult for some of the best batsmen in the world. Muralitharan was one of the biggest reasons why Sri Lanka did well in all forms of cricket, specially Test cricket, in the last one and a half decades.

WATCH this video to see the unbelievable skills of Muralitharan and what he could with a cricket ball in his hand.

Muralitharan did something unimaginable when given a ‘simple’ challenge. The challenge was to flick a coin off the top of a glass by bowling at it. This sounds simple enough but is extremely tough for a rookie. Oh and wait, there is more, the glass with a coin on top sits atop stumps. But nothing is impossible for spin maestro Murali. Or is it?

Murali, in the most calm and composed manner, accepted the challenge and completed it in the most spectacular manner. We get to see many ‘Vines’ and videos of footballers doing various tricks, but this video of Muttiah Muralitharan flipping a coin to a glass with the cricket ball is one of the most amazing sporting skills we will ever get to see.
