South Africa’s One Day International (ODI) captain AB de Villiers, is arguably the most loved cricket across the cricketing nations. And due to his “grand” presence in the Indian Premier League (IPL), De Villiers enjoys a massive fan-following in India. De Villiers’ craze was captured by former India Test opener and a cricket commentator Aakash Chopra, who made a Vine when the large crowd at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association (HPCA) stadium in Dharamshala, gave a grand reception to Mr. 360 when he came out for a net session.

This happened before the start of the first T20I in Dharamshala, of the ongoing3-match T20 series between India and South Africa. AB de Villiers, because of his attractive and thrilling style of  batting, enjoys a great fan support wherever he goes. De Villiers shares a very special connection with India because of his participation in the IPL.
