It was two weeks ago when the Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi left everyone surprised when the sent a letter to the club that he wanted to leave it. The move came after Barcelona faced a crushing defeat at the hands of Bayern Munich in the quarter-final of the Champions League. During the face-off, Bayern outperformed Barcelona by 8-2.
The football superstar has sent a fax to the club, asking them to allow him to activate a clause in his contract that will allow him to leave on a free transfer this summer.
As soon as the news came out, the rumors swirled about the football superstar’s future and where he might be playing his next following his request to leave Barcelona. Meanwhile, Indian Premier League’s franchise Kolkata Knight Riders has jumped on the bandwagon with a cheeky offer.
Kolkata Knight Riders via their official twitter handle and shared a picture of Lionel Messi donning the KKR jersey and also offered him to join the Knightriders. KKR wrote:
