Team India made the Australians taste the ‘IPL flavor’ as they sealed the series after winning the second of the three-match T20I series, with India now leading with 2-0. Thanks to the brilliant counter-attacking knock by Hardik Pandya, team India was able to notch up their 10th consecutive T20I win.
Before the game kickstarted, the toss was won by India who chose to bowl first. Mathew Wade gave a solid kickstart to his team as he led the Australian side from the front. He walked out to bat with the word go and took the opposition from the word go.
Steve Smith also played an amazing knock as he scored 46 runs, smashing 3 fours and 2 sixes. Glenn Maxwell, Moises Herique, Moises Henrique also played vital roles and gave a target of 195 to the Indian cricket team.
Later, while chasing the target, the Indian cricket team got off to a slow start but gained pace slowly. Both the openers – KL Rahul and Shikhar Dhawan gave the much-needed momentum to the game. However, KL Rahul was soon dismissed in the 5th over of the game after scoring 30 runs off 22 balls, smashing 2 fours and a six.
However, Shikhar Dhawan held the game strong and formed a decent partnership with the Indian skipper Virat Kohli. Together they smashed the Australian bowlers to all the corners of the ground. Shikhar Dhawan was dismissed by Adam Zampa, after scoring 52 runs off 36 balls.

Later on, Shreyas Iyer and Hardik Pandya joined hands and played some fire cracking shots to take the Indian cricket team to the winning side.
