Today, the match was won by Mumbai Indians beating Kolkata Knight Riders by 13 runs in the home game at Wankhede Stadium. Mumbai Indians earned their third win of the season.

The first innings was opened by Mumbai Indians started with the power packed opening by Suryakumar Yadav and Evin Lewis. Suryakumar Yadav played another brilliant knock today and scored 59 runs off 39 balls, hitting 7 fours and 2 sixes. While on the other hand, Evin scored 43 runsoff 28 balls, hitting 5 fours and 2 sixes.
The hit-man Sharma, scored 11 runs off 11 balls, leaving everyone disappointed by their performance. While, Hardik Pandya played a thrilling knock and remained unbeaten at the score 35 runs in 20 balls, including 4 fours and 1 six. The players of the team stretched the scores to 181 runs.
In the second innings, Mumbai Indians defended their scores brilliantly and won the match by saving 13 runs from Kolkata Knight Riders.
The second innings was opened by Chris Lynn, who scored 17 runs off 13 balls. Robin Uthappa, scored 54 runs in 35 balls, smashing 6 fours and 3 sixes, giving a power packed performance.
Nitish Rana, the young cricketer who has impressed everyone with his great performances, scored 31 runs off 27 balls, smashing 3 fours and 1 six, before he was ‘ by caught out’ Jasprit Bumrah.
The skipper of the team, Dinesh Karthik remained unbeaten at the scores of 36 runs in 26 balls, hitting 5 fours and 1 six.
The players of KKR team fell short of 13 runs. Hardik Pandya, once again, in this innings as well gave brilliant performance by doing exceptional bowling and he also took two wickets.
