Twitterati Are All Praises For Jasprit Bumrah’s Stunning Cover-Drive: India and Australia are currently involved in the first pink-ball game of the four-match Border Gavaskar Trophy at Adelaide Oval.
After having made 233 runs on Day 1, the overnight partnership between Ravichandran Ashwin and Wriddhiman Saha came to an end when Ashwin edged a catch into Tim Paine’s hands off a Pat Cummins’ delivery.
Within the next 11 runs, the rest of the Indian batting order shattered quickly. However, there was a silver lining during the disappointing stint and it was a stunning extra cover-drive by the pacer Jasprit Bumrah.
Jasprit Bumrah, who is known for his sensational magical spells managed to impress one and all with his great stroke against a quick one by Mitchell Starc as he moved forward, bending on the back knee and smashed the ball for the boundary.

Meanwhile, Jasprit impressed everyone earlier during the practice matches against Australia A, Jasprit scored an unbeaten 55 run off 57 balls he played on the first balls, including six 4’s and two 6’s. Thanks to the practice games that instilled a lot of confidence in Jasprit Bumrah that allowed him to pull that stunning extra-cover drive in the first Test match.
His shot left everyone jumped out in joy and fans on social media were so impressed that they demand a promotion in the Indian batting lineup for him.
