Twitterati Are Trolling Shivam Dube Left, Right And Center For Conceding 34 Runs In An Over: The Indian cricket team got off to a flying start during the fifth and final T20I of the series between India and New Zealand at the Bay Oval. After brilliantly defeating the New Zealand cricket team in the first four matches, the Indian cricketers carried their form in the final match as well.
While almost every cricketer gave their best from the Indian side, Shivam Dube has found himself at the receiving end of the criticism and trolling on social media. Today, he turned out to be the most expensive player for the Indian side as he went on to conceded 34 runs in one over.
Shivam Dube conceding 34 runs is the most expensive over by an Indian in T20Is, breaking the previous record of 32 set by Stuart Binny from 2016’s clash between India and West Indies. This was also by far the second most expensive over in the history of T20 cricket, after Stuart Broad’s six sixes during the 2007 World T20 clash against India, where Yuvraj Singh smashed six sixes in an over.
Talking about the most expensive over from Shivam Dube, with a sequence of 6,6,4,1,4nb,6,6, Dube conceded 34 runs in the over, where Seifert and Ross Taylor smashed him to all the corner of the ground.
Twitterati were left disappointed after the Shivam’s most expensive spell. People are trolling him left, right and center for his performance. From trolling Shivam Dubey for his performance to asking BCCI for the inclusion of Shivam in the Indian squad.
Here, check out the reactions of Twitterati on this:
Bye bye #ShivamDubey. You don’t deserve international cricket. Go back home and prepare for club cricket & IPL. @IamSanjuSamson Same thing applies to you. You are not made for international cricket. Do well in IPL as always.#NZvIND #INDvsNZ
