Virat Kohli and co. team scripted another emphatic victory over West Indies with a margin of 10 wickets in a one-sided 2nd Test match on Sunday at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium.
While the West Indies cricket team failed to leave a mark with the bat as none of the batsmen except Sunil Ambris and Shai Hope managed to get past the 20-run mark. On the other hand, the Indian cricketers gave amazing performances in all the three formats of the game and emerged out as the winners.
As soon as team India won the series, twitter was flooded with tweets and posts of appreciation. From celebrities to cricketers, everyone applauded the brilliant performances of team India. The social media was abuzz with the Indian victory as the current and former cricketing greats wished the team.
The official twitter handle of Congress party also took to twitter and applauded the performance of Indian cricket team. However, they made a mistake in their tweet and what followed was twitterati hilariously trolling the Congress. Well, what happened was the official twitter handle of the Congress party uploaded a picture of Team India celebrating the wicket during one of the innings but termed them as ‘Men in Blue’, however, they forgot the fact that Team India is called ‘Men in Blue’ only while playing the shorter formats.
