India’s Test specialist Cheteshwar Pujara was hit on his finger, ribs, shoulder, and helmet (twice so far) throughout his knock-on day 5 of the ongoing fourth and final Test match at the Gabba. However, he remained unfazed by all the body blows.
Cheteshwar showed amazing fighting spirit as he tackled the dangerous Australian bowlers, who were trying to put pressure on the Indian batsmen with their aggressive bowling. However, Pujara with his performance proved why he is regarded as a test specialist. Pujara put up a stellar show that perfectly summarizes team India on the tour of Australia.
On Day 5, chasing the target of 328 runs, team India got off to a dismissal start as they lost their opener, Rohit Sharma, early with just 7 runs on the board. However, Pujara held the match and formed an amazing partnership with Shubman Gill.
The duo showcased immense fighting spirit by successfully countering Australian bowlers with their resolute batting. While, Pujara opted to sustain body blows, and frustrated the Australians with his determined batting, on the other hand, Gill showcased the best of his abilities as he kept the scores ticking by occasional fours and rotating the strikes.

Not just this, Josh Hazlewood bowled a bouncer to Pujara after the batsman had earlier stopped Josh on the previous delivery because of a butterfly coming in front of his vision. Hazlewood bowled a vicious bouncer and sledged the batsman by asking if his vision was still impaired. Here, watch the video:

Pujara hit on the body, fingers, helmet on Day 5, most of them are nasty ones – he is still batting out and fighting hard for India.
