Tonight, the IPL war was won by the defending champions, Sunrisers Hyderabad beating Royal Challengers Bangalore by 5 runs. Once again, they proved that they can defend any low scores with their brilliant bowling and fielding skills. The team is leading at the top of the charts as the team earned it’s seventh win of the season out of the nine matches they have played till now.
Before the match started, the toss was won by Virat Kohli, the skipper of RCB who chose to bowl first.The players of RCB showcased brilliant bowling and fielding skills and didn’t allow free runs to Sunrisers in the first innings of the match.
Tim Southee and Mohammad Siraj, the pace bowlers of Royal Challengers did exceptional bowling and made the batsmen of Sunrisers run for money by taking three wickets each.
Kane Williamson played a wonderful knock and tried his best to stretch the scores to great numbers by scoring 59 off 39 balls. On the other hand, Shakib Al Hasan scored 35 runs in 32 balls. Yusuf Pathan, the hero of last match of Sunrisers only scored 12 runs off 7 balls tonight.All the players were bundled up making the total scores to 146 runs.
In the second innings, The innings was opened by Manan Vohra and Parthiv Patel, started a very slow innings. The skipper of the team, Virat Kohli played a slow innings today as he scored 39 runs off 30 balls. AB De Villiers was sent back to pavilion with 5 runs in his account as he was given run out by Rashid Khan.
The bowlers and fielders of Sunrisers Hyderabad defended the runs wonderfully and won the match by 5 runs.
