Virat Kohli, who is going through a rough patch in his career, played one of the most memorable knocks on the toughest pitch to bat at. His knock has turned out to be one of the vital talking points.
Although, he wasn’t able to score his 71st century today but he managed to zip the mouths of his critics. He fought like a lone warrior as wickets kept falling from the other end, however, he couldn’t reach the much-awaited milestone and was dismissed after scoring 79 runs. During his knock, Kohli hit 12 boundaries and one six.

Well, a tweet by a renowned statistician Mohandas Menon has been going viral on the internet, where he has revealed how this was only Kohli’s fifth six in Tests in the last three years – since 2019. Yes, you read that right.
Virat Kohli has scored only 5 sixes since 2019, whereas the Indian batting trio of Rohit Sharma, Mayank Agarwal, and Rishabh Pant, who have smashed sixes 31, 25, and 18 times respectively. Mohandas Menon revealed:
