Venkatesh Prasad Wrote The Best Tweet For Blackcaps: Kane Williamson and his men put on a stellar show in another semi-final on Sunday to reach the final stage after beating England by five wickets in another thrilling clash of the ongoing T20 World Cup 2021.

Daryl Mitchell led the run chase to take the Kiwis home by playing a stunning unbeaten knock of 72 runs. The cricketer was well supported by Jimmy Neesham, who played an explosive cameo and helped Mitchell take his team to another final in a space of just four months.

This is the fifth time, since 2015 when the Kiwis have managed to qualify for the final round of the ICC tournament. New Zealand has now made it to the finals of the 2015 and 2019 World Cups, and the semi-finals of the 2016 and 2021 T20 World Cups. Earlier they had also won the inaugural edition of the World Test Championship by defeating team India.

Meanwhile, former Indian cricketer Venkatesh Prasad also took to his Twitter and wrote a beautiful Tweet for Blackcaps. In his Tweet, Venkatesh Prasad hailed the Kiwis as the absolute champions of the game. He also lauded the Kiwis on their incredible journey so far by highlighting how the team reached the 2015 WC final, 2019 WC final (almost won), and the World Test Championship (winners). He wrote:

“After reaching the 2015 WC final, 2019 WC final and the World Test Championship final which they won, New Zealand reach another World Cup Final. They are not just a likeable team, but absolute champions. Fantastic win today #ENGvsNZ”
