Virat Kohli was once again India’s highest run-scorer, in the second innings of the ongoing Test between India and England. On a pitch where all Indian batsmen struggle to get going in the second innings, Virat Kohli batted with flair and scored freely around the park. Kohli batted for 109 balls and scored 81 runs.
Virat Kohli followed his brilliant hundred in the first innings with a good knock in the second. He was looking for yet another hundred but a brilliant piece fielding by England’s Ben Stokes at first slip, cut his innings short and he had to walk back at the score of 81.
Kohli tried by an expansive drive through covers off Adil Rashid’s bowling but the ball spun more than he expected, took the outside edge of his bat and went flying towards Ben Stokes at first slip, who dived full length to his right and took an unbelievable one-handed catch. Watch it here:
