After losing the One Day International (ODI) series against India, the Windies boys came back strongly in the one-off T20I and registered a thumping victory against India.

T20 is a format that West Indies love to play. Over the years, the Caribbean has produced some of the most talented T20 cricketer. With their style, flamboyance and incredible cricketing skills, the West Indian cricketers have added so much entertainment to the shortest format of the game.

Fans were desperately waiting for the one-off T20I because the likes of Chris Gayle, Kieron Pollard, Sunil Narine, Marlon Samuels, Samuel Badree were returning back to the game. There was a massive build-up to the game and fans were hoping that Gayle would fire.

India batted first and scored 190 runs in their quota of 20 overs. It was looking a good target because India had a good bowling-up. Indian bowlers did well to keep Gayle quiet at the beginning, but Evin Lewis, who came out open the innings with Gayle, continued his love affair with India and smashed his second T20I hundred, both against India.

Lewis played some of the most incredible cricket strokes and made Indian bowlers look very ordinary in the middle. He scored runs freely all around the park. Lewis’ knock was studded with six 4s and whopping 12 sixes. This is the third highest number of sixes in an innings in T20Is – Australia’s Aaron Finch has the most with 14 struck in his 156. Watch the highlights of his innings here:
