The Australian tour of India started off yesterday with the Indians winning the first game comfortably. Just after the game, the likes of Glenn Maxwell was seen helping out the creators of the new Ashes cricket game. The Australian board announced the release of a new game with video game creators Big Ant.

They roped in the Australian big hitter to promote the game and they will also bring the action of the Commonwealth Bank Woman’s Ashes and the Magellan Ashes series.

Hi-tech changes:

The new game features some hi-tech processes in order to capture the players’ movements in order to capture their likeliness. This required Glenn Maxwell to imitate the other players in the game in order to get similar features and idiosyncrasies into the game. This means that Maxwell had to bat like Steven Smith and Virender Sehwag to capture their moves on the cameras.

There are close to 35 HD cameras that are used to capture his movements in a superb 720 frame per second capability. Maxwell was impressed and soon got into his usual fun self. He was on point with many of his imitations, including Sehwag, Smith, Handscomb, Dilshan’s scoop, Brian Lara and Matthew Hayden amongst others.

“Time and time again players tell us the feature they love most about our cricket games is the deep customisation options,” Big Ant CEO, Ross Simons was quoted as saying by cricket.com.au.

“We have produced a true Ashes cricket game, through and through, but we’ve also made sure that our heritage in sports games remains true.”

The game looks to be interesting and it will be fun to see how the other players look and work during the video game. Cricket Australia revealed the video to their Twitter followers and it is interesting to say the very least:
