Indian batting maestro Virat Kohli stole the show with his powerful batting performance against SunRisers Hyderabad in a crucial game on Thursday. Many even blamed Kohli’s strike rate as the reason behind RCB’s struggle in the ongoing season. However, Kohli gave a solid reply to his critics as he smashed an intent-filled century, which was also his 6th IPL century.
En route to his knock of 100 runs off 63-balls, Kohli smashed a stunning 103m six that stood out. The shot was so beautiful that it left everyone stunned, including RCB skipper Faf du Plessis, who was a spectator on the other end of the crease.
The six came in the first ball of the ninth over against SunRisers Hyderabad‘s debutant Nitish Reddy. Kohli got on top of the bounce and pulled the ball hard over deep mid-wicket for a stunning six.

After the game, Virat Kohli indulged in a hilarious conversation with his teammate Glenn Maxwell. In a video shared by the Royal Challengers Bangalore via their official Twitter handle, where Kohli could be seen talking about that 103m six. He said: “Yes, you little strong boys, 103, I am taking that with me,”
Kohli then looked at Glenn Maxwell and said: “Why are you surprised? Look at him. That’s my biggest 6 of this season so I will take it anyways.”
The Aussie then teased Kohli saying: “It’s a shot boundary, 59 yards.”
Responding to Maxwell, Kohli said: “That’s why I hit it that hard. I almost hit a wide for six in the end. Almost went for six.”
