One player who has been in good form off late for India has been Hardik Pandya. The all-rounder is a good player and has the knack of getting important wickets in limited overs. In the previous ODI, he got the wicket of Steve Smith when he was looking good and did the same versus David Warner in the third ODI.

His ball to get rid of Warner was one that nipped back in slowly and completely flummoxed the Australian.

Warner was looking good:

Right until Pandya got the wicket, Warner was looking extremely good and his partnership with Finch was proving to be dangerous. The duo had already put up 70 runs together for the opening wicket and it seemed like they would take the onus to put on a massive score together. Just when things were getting out of hand, Pandya bowled an a beauty that got rid of the dangerous left-hander.

The delivery he had bowled was an off-cutter against the run of play. Right up till then, Pandya was bowling a tight line, trying to ensure that the batsmen were not getting any room in their attempts to go big. This ball was a slow one that Warner completely did not read. The ball went through the batsman’s gate and went straight to the stumps, thus breaking the partnership between the two players.

India will look to win the game and wrap up the series, so it should be nice to see how they come out for the last two ODIs.
