Virat Kohli couldn’t hide his excitement after India won the second match of the ongoing series against England in Cuttack. It is Virat Kohli’s first series as India’s full-time ODI captain. After Virat and Jadhav’s brilliant performances in the first ODI, it was MS Dhoni and Yuvraj Singh’s masterclass in the second ODI that won the game for India.
Yuvraj Singh and MS Dhoni got together when India were 3 wickets down for 20 odd runs and slammed hundreds and India ended with 381 runs in their quota of 50 overs. Yuvraj Singh and MS Dhoni scored their 14th and 10th ODI hundred respectively. England are a very good batting unit and they gave a very effort while chasing India’s daunting total. They batted well and gave some tensed moments to Virat Kohli in the middle.
But in the end, Indian bowlers held their nerves and India won the match by 15 runs. Captain Kohli was standing at long on and he came running all the way towards Dhoni and other Indian cricketers after the last ball of England’s innings was bowled.
