Indian spinner have dominated the proceedings in the ongoing Test series between India and England. But, Ishant Sharma, who was playing his first Test of the series in the fifth Test in Chennai, made a strong statement in his comeback. Ishant has always received criticism for bowling too short and not testing batsmen with full-pitched deliveries.
Ishant Sharma, who got married last week, has made a few changes in his technique and bowled much fuller and took 2 wickets for India. Ishant mixed his lines brilliantly and showed good control on Day 1 of the fifth Test.
Ishant welcomed England’s debutante Liam Dawson with a cracking delivery that hit him on his helmet. It was just his second ball after coming on for the departed Jos Buttler when Ishant Sharma struck him with a nasty bouncer. Watch it here:
