Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) captain KL Rahul quickly influenced the ongoing match against Rajasthan Royals (RR). The 4th game of the Indian Premier League (IPL) is being held at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur.

KL Rahul surprised many by taking on the wicket-keeping duties in the current game against Rajasthan Royals. The batsman-keeper was advised by the BCCI Medical Team to refrain from keeping in the initial matches of the tournament to prevent any strain on his injury.

KL Rahul took an incredible catch behind the stumps

KL Rahul has shown good skills as a wicketkeeper so far. He made an impressive catch to dismiss Rajasthan Royals (RR) opener Jos Buttler. It happened during the 6th ball of the second over, bowled by Naveen-ul-Haq, who was bowling well.

Naveen-ul-Haq delivered a full-length ball outside off stump. Jos Buttler attempted a drive with force, resulting in a thick edge. KL Rahul reacted quickly, moving to his right, and took a low catch with both hands brilliantly.

Jos Buttler showed aggression with some beautiful shots, aiming to pressure the Lucknow Super Giants. However, Naveen-ul-Haq broke through his defense at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. Buttler scored 11 runs off 9 balls, with a strike rate of over 122, including two fours.

After Buttler’s dismissal, Yashasvi Jaiswal took over, swiftly scoring 24 runs off 11 balls at a strike rate of 200. He struck three fours and one six before Mohsin Khan dismissed him. Khan’s short delivery cramped Jaiswal for room, resulting in a catch taken by mid-on.
