South African bowlers were all over the Aussies batsmen in the first innings of the second Test of the ongoing series between Australia and South Africa. South Africa, after winning the toss, decided to bowl first on a green pitch. Proteas’ fast bowler, led by Vernon Philander, bowled brilliantly on a green pitch, and dismissed Australia for just 85 runs.
The majority of wicket-taking was done by Philander, who took 5 wickets and Kyle Abbott, who took 3. It was a great display of fast bowling by Proteas. There were many great deliveries bowled in the innings but the one that Kyle Abbott bowled to Australia’s opening batsman David Warner was an absolute jaffa and a treat to watch.
David Warner was beaten all end up but the ball somehow missed the stumps. Kyle Abbott couldn’t believe his luck, but Warner saw the funny side of it. Watch it here:
