VIDEO: Rohit Sharma’s Hilarious Brain-Fade Moment At The Toss

Toss plays a crucial role in the game, especially when it comes to limited-overs format. The captains have to discuss with the team management whether to bat or bowl first before heading for the toss. However, the Indian captain Rohit Sharma faced a rare moment where he forgot what to do after winning the toss in the ongoing second ODI on Sunday against New Zealand.

Rohit flipped the coin and it went in his favor in Raipur but what followed after was pure comedy as the Indian captain forgot whether to bat or bowl first after winning the toss. Rohit took a good minute to make up his mind and then he decided to bowl first.

After winning the toss, Sharma admitted that he forgot what he wanted. He said that he had plenty of discussions with the team about whether to bat or bowl first however he forgot what he wanted to do. The team just wanted to challenge themselves under difficult conditions. “I forgot what we wanted to do, had plenty of discussions with the team about the toss decision, just wanted to challenge ourselves under difficult conditions, but we’ll bowl first. Was a good test for us, knowing that the wicket will get better to bat on and that was the challenge in front of us.”

He added: “Was a good test for us, knowing that the wicket will get better to bat on and that was the challenge in front of us. Bracewell batted well, but we bowled well in the end and won the game. There was a bit of dew during the practice sessions, but we’ve heard from the curator that it will not play a role on game days. We batted first in Hyderabad, we wanted to bowl first here,“
