In the first Test of the ongoing series between Australia and South Africa, Temba Bavuma stunned one and all with his brilliant fielding to dismiss Australia’s star batsman David Warner.
David Warner, who fell just 3 runs short of a century in the first innings of the match, played a defensive shot with soft hands and called for a single. Temba Bavuma, who was fielding at covers, covered the ground quickly and smashed the ball onto the stumps to find Warner just short of his ground.
The speed with which Bavuma reached ball was exemplary but the way he picked up the ball released while being in the air was astonishing. It is not easy to find the stumps from that angle but the fact that Bavuma threw the ball while being in the air made it even more spectacular. Watch it here:
