Remember Lagaan, the 2001 classic by Ashutosh Gowariker, which had Aamir Khan in the lead role? One of the most memorable scenes in the movie was in which Aamir Khan (Bhuvan) identified Kachra’s skills for the first time. ‘Kachra’, who belonged to the untouchable community, was hand-picked by him for the role after he accidentally spun the ball. And in the end, Kachra turned out to be the match-winner for Bhuvan’s team against the Britishers.
Now, after Ravichandran Ashwin’s spectacular performance in the recently concluded Test series against New Zealand, someone made a spoof video of the same scene, replacing the characters of Lagaan with Indian cricketers.
