Virat Kohli and the Indian team are currently in Colombo where they will be playing their Super 4 matches of the ongoing Asia Cup 2023 tournament.

Two days out from the exciting India vs Pakistan encounter in the Super 4, Virat Kohli engaged in a conversation with a few young cricketers in Sri Lanka after a net session in Colombo.

On Saturday morning, the BCCI uploaded a video from Friday night of Kohli interacting with budding cricketers in Sri Lanka after one of his training sessions. The 34-year-old Indian legend gave advice to these youngsters on fitness, skills, mental toughness, and other aspects of the game. Young cricketers around the world look up to Kohli and consider him an inspiration for what he’s achieved over the past 15 years in international cricket.

Virat Kohli can be heard speaking with intensity about ‘skill’, ‘fitness’, ‘mentality’, ‘hard work’, and ‘visualization’ to the youngsters who were listening to him keenly.

The BCCI captioned their post: “Start your weekend with an inspiring interaction

Virat Kohli aims to score big against Pakistan

Virat Kohli had managed just 4 runs in the game against Pakistan last week in Pallekele. He was bowled by Shaheen Afridi, chopping onto his stumps, after inside-edging a push he intended to play toward third man. Against Nepal, Kohli didn’t get to bat as Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill completed a chase without losing their wickets.

India and Pakistan will meet on September 10 in Colombo for their Super 4 encounter. A win for Pakistan over India will see them to the final, however, there is a big rain threat in Colombo.

The ACC has added a reserve day for the India vs Pakistan match on Sunday, with Monday being scheduled as the reserve day. However, there is no reserve day for any other Super 4 matches.
