Virat Kohli is arguably the best batsman in world cricket across all three formats of the game. In the recently concluded Test and ODI series against England, Kohli was in sublime form and he scored runs almost every time he came out to bat in the middle.

Kohli hasn’t made an impact with the bat in the ongoing T20I series but there is still one more match left in the series and he would raring to go out and score big. In the first T20I against England, Kohli opened the innings with KL Rahul but was dismissed very early in the innings. In the second match, he batted for 15 balls and scored 21 runs, including 2 fours and mesmerising six.

Virat Kohli has opened the innings in T20 cricket for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the Indian Premier League (IPL), but it was the first time he opened the innings in T20I cricket.

In the second T20I, Virat Kohli played a stroke off Tysmal Mill’s bowling that made everyone stand on their feet and applaud the champion batsman. Mill bowled a wide delivery but Kohli was quick to react and he timed it to perfection. It was arguably the shot of the match and thanks to Indian Cricket Team’s official Facebook page, the video of that shot was uploaded and you can watch it here if you missed it. Watch it here:

But our favourite still remains the one he played off Chris Woakes’ bowling in the ODI series. That shot had class written all over it and it’s already a contender for the best shot of 2017. Watch it here:
