Virat Kohli is a brilliant fielder and he spends a lot of time on improving his fielding skills. Kohli is a very versatile fielder and he can field at any position. When the ball is new and sharp skills are needed close to batsman, Kohli fields at important close in fielding positions like covers. And when the batsmen are going after the bowlers in death overs, he fields at long on and long off to save boundaries and prevent batsmen from taking extra runs.
In the third and final Test of the ongoing series between India and New Zealand, Virat Kohli took a very sharp catch at leg slip. Usually, leg slip catches come from the outside edge of the bat, but this catch Kohli took came off the inside edge of Mitchell Santner’s bat. Watch it here:
