Virender Sehwag will always be remembered as one of the most destructive batsmen in cricket history. From smashing boundaries on the first ball of the match to reaching his maiden Test triple century with a massive six, Virender Sehwag terrorised almost every bowler he played against. Sehwag always played an aggressive brand of cricket and backed his natural game irrespective of situation and condition. Virender Sehwag is the only Indian batsman to score a triple hundred in Test cricket.

In the video shared below, Virender Sehwag is narrating an incident that took place during an India-Pakistan game. It is one of the most funniest videos featuring Virender Sehwag.

VIDEO: Virender Sehwag’s cracking reply to Shoaib Akhtar

Virender Sehwag said that Shoaib Akhtar, the Pakistan speedster, kept banging it short and provoking him to play the hook shot. In reply, Sehwag said, “Joh non-striker end pe khada hai, woh tera baap hai. Usko bol, woh maarke dikhayega.” (The guy at the non-striking end is your father. Tell him, he will hit). Sehwag said a while later Tendulkar hooked Shoaib for six. As Shoaib walked back, Sehwag taunted him, “Beta beta hota ha, aur baap baap.” (Son is a son and father is a father).
