VIDEO: We all missed Ravindra Jadeja’s sword celebration yesterday

It was Karun Nair’s show in Chennai on Monday. Nair became only the second Indian batsman to score a triple-hundred in Test cricket, after Virender Sehwag, who has 2 triple-hundreds to his name in Test cricket. Nair showcased a batting masterclass and made England’s bowling attack look very ordinary. From his shot selection to running between the wickets, almost everything was perfect about Nair’s innings as he became the only Indian batsman to convert his maiden Test ton into a triple-hundred.

Nair was well supported by KL Rahul, Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja during his innings. Rahul, who opened the innings with Parthiv Patel, scored 199 runs and Ashwin (67) and Jadeja (51) scored fifty each.

Ravindra Jadeja scored a quick fire fifty and as soon as he reached his fifty, the “imaginary” sword came out and he started doing his customary ‘sword celebration’. Watch it here:
