On Friday, RCB unveiled their new logo and jersey via their social media handles for the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League. Unveiling the new logo and jersey of the team, this time the franchise will be hoping for the fortune of the team to change so that the three-time finalists can finally take the trophy home after struggling for 13 years.
Skipper Virat Kohli was among the first ones to welcome the new logo of the team that depicts the lion with a crown returning to the royal lineage embodying the challenging spirit of the team. Cricket fans also welcomed the new logo and jersey of RCB with mixed reactions on the Instagram posts. While many loved the new logo, on the other hand, there were many who trolled the franchise for the fact that they are yet to get their hand son the IPL trophy.
Surprisingly, the former chairman of the Royal Challengers Bangalore, Vijaya Mallya also joined the bandwagon and trolled the franchise for not being able to win the trophy till now. Taking a dig at RCB, Vijay Mallya wrote:

His comments didn’t go down well with the netizens who bashed him left, right and center for taking a dig at RCB. Vijay Mallya, who is currently in the UK, has been accused of not paying back his loans to be near about Rs 9,000 crores. The netizens didn’t shy away from making him remind about his money laundering case.
