The Virat Kohli vs Naveen-ul-Haq saga has now finally ended with KING Kohli himself showing his generousness and graciousness to not ask the Delhi crowd to taunt Naveen.
As India and Afghanistan played out a one-sided match at the Arun Jaitley Stadium on Wednesday, the fans assembled at the venue often teased and taunted Naveen-ul-Haq with chants of “Kohli Kohli” when he was batting and when he was bowling. Even ahead of the match, during the warm-ups, the fans had a go at the Afghan pacer.
During India’s innings then, Virat Kohli and Naveen shared a few words, shook each other’s hands, and even shared a small hug. Kohli made a massive gesture was asking the Delhi crowd to calm down and leave Naveen. This gesture from the local lad was appreciated by the fans on social media.
After completing India’s chase, Virat Kohli, who remained unbeaten on 55, then walked to Naveen-ul-Haq. Both shared a hearty laugh, possibly about their tussle from earlier this year, and have both put the matter to bed.

After the match, Naveen praised Virat Kohli and revealed that it was the Indian superstar who said to finish the matter.
“Virat Kohli is a very nice guy. Delhi is his home ground and the crowd supported their hometown boy so they were chanting ‘Kohli, Kohli'”.
“What happens on the field, happens inside the field, nothing outside, after shaking hands, Virat told lets finish it and I also said lets finish it,” Naveen said.
Meanwhile, India recorded a thumping 8-wicket win in Delhi courtest of a blistering century from Rohit Sharma. He smashed 131 runs in 84 balls, with the help of 16 fours and 5 sixes, making a mockery of the target of 273 runs, which India chased down in 35 overs.
The action now moves to Ahmedabad, where India will take on Pakistan. Rohit had hit a century against Pakistan in the 2019 World Cup in England.
