India’s middle-order batter Suryakumar Yadav has emerged as one of the finest T20 batters in the world. In the game against South Africa at Guwahati, SKY smashed an 18-ball half-century to help the Indian cricket team post a big total. In the end, the Indian side registered a narrow win of 16 runs. During the game, Surya formed a partnership with former India captain Virat Kohli and together they added 102 runs for the fourth wicket.
Suryakumar and Kohli played crucial knocks for the Rohit Sharma-led side and helped the hosts to post a massive total. Suryakumar top-scored for India as the star batter smashed 61 off 22 balls in the high-scoring thriller against South Africa. His stunning knock was laced with 5 boundaries and 5 sixes. Former Indian skipper Kohli remained unbeaten on 49 off 28 balls to help India post 237-3 in 20 overs.
