Virat Kohli was left in absolute disbelief as Will Jacks reached his maiden IPL hundred by smashing a couple of sixes off Rashid Khan’s bowling. Jacks’ remarkable batting display helped RCB secure a crucial win in their season.
During their partnership, Will Jacks initially played a supporting role to Virat Kohli. However, Jacks took control of the innings from the 11th over onwards. He continued his aggressive hitting spree in Mohit Sharma’s 15th over, scoring 29 runs with two boundaries and three sixes. Jacks reached his century in the next over bowled by Rashid Khan, hitting a boundary and four sixes off the Afghan spinner. Kohli’s reaction to Jacks’ third six was one of disbelief and amazement.

Will Jacks played a terrific knock of 100 runs off 41 balls, smashing 5 fours and 10 sixes. Kohli was impressed by Jacks’ performance and showed his appreciation by running towards him and giving him a warm hug after his century. Later, Jacks hit the winning runs with a superb six, securing the victory for RCB with Kohli at the other end.

Kohli Hailed Will Jacks’ For His Fiery Knock
Speaking after the match, Will Jacks expressed his excitement about smashing a century. He said: “Amazing feeling right now. Faf and Virat got us off to a very good start. I struggled early on, Virat kept his intensity up and I had the chance to get my rhythm. Once we had the time-out, we said let’s get two really good overs and win the game. I just kept going and amazing feeling right now. I was trying to be positive (against spin early on), just struggling. I was trying to overhit the ball, probably little bit tensed. Once I got one away off Mohit, I relaxed and trusted myself. Next game, hopefully I do that earlier.”
After the match, Kohli also hailed Will Jacks’ knock as one of the best T20 centuries. He said: “I’m lucky to be watching that kind of a knock from Will Jacks from the non striker’s end”.
