Virat Kohli Fans Trolled Naveen-ul-Haq And LSG With “Sweet Mangoes”: “Mangoes” was the word trending on Twitter as it became more clear during Lucknow Super Giants‘ innings that their journey in the IPL 2023 is coming to a close as they kept losing one wicket after another in the Eliminator against Mumbai Indians at the Chepauk.

RCB and Virat Kohli’s fans trolled Naveen mercilessly as LSG were knocked out of the IPL 2023 by the 5-time champions Mumbai Indians.

Naveen-ul-Haq shone through for LSG with a 4-wicket haul, that comprised the wickets of Rohit Sharma, Suryakumar Yadav, Cameron Green, and Tilak Varma. However, the headlines were all stolen by MI young pacer Akash Madhwal who finished with stunning figures of 5/5, helping MI bowl LSG out for only 101 in their chase of 182 and win the match by a whopping 81 runs.

Upon losing the match, LSG captain Krunal Pandya said: “(What went wrong) We were in a really good position. Everything started when I played that shot when it was not on and I take complete responsibility. We should have played better cricket there. I take all the blame for where we ended up. (On the pitch in the second half) The wicket was good, it was coming nicely onto the bat. It played exactly how it did in the first innings. We had to bat better. We needed to take responsibility and play better cricket but we did not play that way. (On QDK exclusion) It is always a tough decision. He is a world-class batter. It is just that Kyle had a better record here. We felt that we could go with Kyle. (On opening with spin) Their batters bat really well against pace so I thought we could bowl spin at the start.”
